FOR THIRD AND FOURTH YEAR LAW STUDENTS
Secondary Research Associate/Orderly to the Hon Justice Kenneth Martin and the Hon Justice Corboy
Job description:
This newly created, six-month full-time position would suit a third or fourth year level law student, keen on gaining an insight into civil litigation and the court system across a semester gap. In this position, you will provide valuable support to the Judges and their Associates both in and out of court. This includes but is not limited to:
* legal research;
* providing administrative assistance to both Judges;
* preparing the courtroom for hearings;
* preparing material for the Judges prior to a hearing; and
* performing court duties during all hearings.
Two positions of six months duration are available, the first commencing in January 2013 and the second in July 2013.
The successful applicants will be team-oriented and have a thirst for learning. They must also be willing to take a semester off or study only part-time for the duration of the position.

PART TIME POSITION AVAILABLE FOR LAW STUDENT
A part time position (2 days/week) is available in a busy commercial legal firm with offices located in the heart of Fremantle overlooking the cappuccino strip. The position will see the successful applicant carrying out various tasks on commercial litigation files including research, drafting advice, etc.
