Clayton Utz Client Interview
Before any action can go to court any practitioner must know what outcome their client desires. The Clayton Utz Client Interview Competition assesses this skill.
Each team consists of two students. The interview is the first substantive contact with the client. Competitors will only receive a short memorandum of the client’s situation before the commencement of the interview. This means little preparation and no detailed knowledge of the law is required.
Any student enrolled in a law degree at Notre Dame may compete.
The top placing two competitors in the competition will win the right to represent the University at the ALSA Conference in July 2011. The running of the competition and subsidies for the competitors attending ALSA are provided by Clayton Utz.
Round One: Thursday the 8th of October.
Round Two: Thursday the 15th of October.
Grand Final: Thursday the 22nd of October.
Note: dates subject to change.
